Does auto-attendance work if a student has connection issues?
Yes. Veevo tracks each connection segment independently. If a student disconnects and reconnects three times, all three events are logged with timestamps, and total time present is calculated accurately across all segments.
Can I export attendance to Google Sheets or Excel?
Yes. Attendance exports as a CSV file which opens directly in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or any spreadsheet application.
What information is included in the attendance report?
The per-session CSV report includes: student name, username, join time, leave time, total duration in session, and session date. Multi-segment records (students who disconnected and rejoined) show all segments.
Is auto-attendance available on the free plan?
Yes. Auto-attendance is included on all Veevo plans, including the free plan. There is no premium tier required to access attendance tracking.
Can students see their own attendance records?
Students do not have access to their own attendance records in the current version. Attendance data is available to teachers and school administrators only.
Is the attendance data FERPA compliant?
Yes. Attendance records are treated as student education records subject to FERPA. They are stored under the school's account, accessible only to authorized school personnel, and are never shared with third parties.
